Wendy Carpenter - CEO and Executive Director

Wendy Carpenter joined the EdenHill Community as its CEO in August of 2020 after working more than 25 years for a large multi campus CCRC in a variety of progressive leadership roles. Wendy began her career over thirty years ago providing care as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, Certified Assisted Living Administrator, then advanced with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics and a Master’s degree in Health Administration. While working in senior living and health care, Wendy has cultivated a strong background in operations, quality and performance improvement, regulatory compliance, risk management and strategic planning.

Wendy has been instrumental in the development of nationally recognized programs of care and serves on the Texas Leading Age Board of Directors. She is an active member of its Public Policy Committee, advocating for seniors and senior living services.

Travis Wommack - Cheif Financial Officer

Travis Wommack joined EdenHill as our Chief Financial Officer in the fall of 2022. He has over 15 years’ experience both working as a CFO and working within the Aging Services field. Travis is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who graduated from Canyon High School, then Texas Tech University.

“As a kid growing up, I would visit family that lived in Eden Heights and Eden Home. New Braunfels is my family’s home and has been for many many years, and I am eager to join EdenHill Communities to help this organization, with such a great history and mission, continue to grow and evolve to meet not only the current needs but the future needs, of New Braunfels and Comal County.”


Guy Hamilton - Director of Operations

Guy joined EdenHill in 2014 after a 23-year career in the United States Air Force. He served in various leadership positions in aircraft maintenance, was on the Inspector General’s Directorate, and the principal safety advisor to the United Arab Emirates Air Force. Guy earned a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle.

Since joining EdenHill Guy has completed the yearlong LeadingAge Texas Leadership Institute. He also received Texas State’s Healthcare Administration Certification and became a Licensed Healthcare Administrator.

“After a journey through long-term memory care with my father, I knew my ‘second career’ would be in aging services. It is an honor and privilege to serve the residents of EdenHill.”


Mary Bradley -  Administrator

Mary Bradley joined EdenHill in June, 2022 and, following several months of training, will serve as our Administrator beginning in September. Mary brings a wealth of experience to EdenHill, having 15 years as a long-term care Administrator and 12 years as a long-term care Social Worker. She has achieved the impressive distinction of  maintaining 4- and 5-Star CMS ratings for her previous facility since 2009.

Mary is a dedicated team player who leads by example and keeps an open door, encouraging a family atmosphere for residents, staff, and families. She is committed to assisting the CEO in census development, strategic planning, and staff recruitment and retention.

Terry Jackson - Director of Sales and Marketing

Terry Jackson has more than 20 years’ experience in Healthcare, with over 15 of those years being in the Aging Services field. Her experiences span Senior Day programming, Home Health, Durable Medical Equipment, Geriatric Behavioral Health and Residential Services. She is passionate about developing and promoting quality services for Seniors.

Terry came to EdenHill in 2018 and is thrilled to be working and making an impact in her own town. “EdenHill is such a unique culture. As a not-for-profit, non-corporatized community, we are seriously committed to enhancing the lives we serve. Being part of this mission-driven community gives deep meaning to our daily work. There’s just no other work setting I’d rather be putting my efforts towards than EdenHill.”


Jill Wilson - Director of Human Resources

Jill Wilson, SPHR, is our Human Resources Director with over two decades of Human Resources Management experience.   Jill joined the EdenHill Communities team in 2010 and quickly integrated with Texas Leading Age to complete their yearlong Leadership fellow course, chaired and co-chaired the HR Leading Age Peer group for a number of years and was part of the EdenHill team to win the “Excellence in the Workplace” award for our culture and the fun initiatives that we have at EdenHill Communities.

“I am honored and humbled to work with the incredible Team at EdenHill Communities to make the lives of our employees and residents better every day through a positive and fun workplace.  When I am not at work, I enjoy new experiences through travel with friends and family.”


Sarah Currie - Chaplain

Rev. Sarah Currie has been in ordained ministry for 33 years, after some years teaching college English.  A Mississippi native, she’s been in her adopted state of Texas since 1982.  As a United Methodist pastor, Sarah served several churches in central and south Texas before shifting direction toward chaplaincy.  Following her time with local hospice agencies, Sarah has been the chaplain at EdenHill since 2016.

“I love serving at EdenHill as chaplain, where I get to offer non-judgmental, compassionate presence and spiritual companionship and encouragement to residents, families, and staff.  I’m honored to meet people where they are, love them as they are, and help them get where they need to go.”

Chaplain Sarah also loves serving alongside the wonderful volunteers and Team members who help her support our residents and families.
