Changing lives, one gift at a time…
Since 1910, EdenHill Communities has taken its not-for-profit status seriously – valuing people and quality over earnings – and managing its resources with mission in mind. Charitable proceeds are continually invested into improving the healthcare services, staffing, accommodations, and volunteer – and resident-centered programs and activities.
Envisioning a community…the vision goes well beyond the blueprint. It’s not just about an apartment or cottage, but about the people who live there. EdenHill is a group ofcommunities where people can enjoy life to the fullest. It’s about aging triumphantly by building friendships, easing worries about the future, and enriching lives.
EdenHill’s Altenheim Day celebration in October is an ideal time to join the family of donors who endorse and help sustain EdenHill’s legacy in senior care excellence. Please consider how your charitable donation will enable EdenHill to enrich lives and fulfill your own dreams of helping others in teh following ways.
Benevolence Fund: EdenHill’s historic commitment to provide the highest level of benevolent care for its residents in need is a clear reflection of our values and our faith mission. As a Christ-centered ministry, EdenHill’s goals are to restore hope and provide the very best care and services to every resident, including those who may have exhausted their resources toward the end of their lives through no fault of their own.
Dee Meyer Nature Area: EdenHill’s newest effort in promoting healthy aging for our residents and the community. The Nature Area is situated in a prime location over looking New Braunfels. The 8-acre site, on Lakeview Blvd across from the EdenHill campus, will feature a 1.2 mile walking trail, green space, picnic areas and new parking spaces for visitors, special events and staff.
Annual Fund: This important unrestricted support allows EdenHill the flexibility to seize opportunities that directly benefit our residents and staff, while maintaining a solid financial base to weather times of economic challenge.
Memory Care: EdenHill Communities is a leader in advanced memory care services in a skilled nursing home setting in the New Braunfels area. EdenHill is uniquely qualified to initiate a broad array of services for residents who need this type of care, from support programs for families first engaging the challenges of dementia, to specialized in-house caregiving and therapy programs.
Chaplaincy Fund: As a faith-based organization, the spiritual well-being of our residents is paramount. Ministering to all of our residents, regardless of their church affiliation, helps fulfill the overall mission to enrich lives through quality service and Christian care. EdenHill Communities has a full-time chaplain who conducts interdenominational services, devotionals, Bible studies, baptisms, weddings and funerals. We are proud of our beautiful chapel and grateful that it has brought such spiritual comfort and support to countless residents and their caregivers throughout the years.
Nurse Training and Education: Maintaining a stable and adequately trained staff is crucial to operating successful care programs for seniors (assisted living, dementia-focused, rehabilitation services and skilled nursing). EdenHill is a Certified Nurse Assistant Teaching facility and offers CNA training classes to the community at-large and current employees at no charge with employment opportunities immediately upon completion.
