Over the weekend, our neighbors in Bexar County were sent a push notification to stay home. Comal County has experienced a positive case rate increase of 67.8% in just the last week. The Fourth of July Holiday weekend is coming up. Temptations will abound for us to interact with others.

We have asked all of our staff to limit activities away from work to essential outings. We encourage our community to do the same.

Please remember to:

  • Wear a mask in public and stay at least 6 feet away from others.

  • If you must congregate, please do so outdoors.

  • Wash your hands frequently. Carry hand sanitizer with you.

To date, we have had no residents test positive. With the increase of transmission in our county, the likelihood of our residents being exposed has also increased. We must do our part to respect the lives of those that are most vulnerable.

Below is just one CDC case study of how 61 people became infected from just 2 individuals in Arkansas.
