Caring for our Heroes

Did you know that EdenHill is now a designated provider of care for Veterans? We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve those who have served our nation so selflessly. This contract allows us to offer short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care to eligible Veterans and their spouses.

Enhancing Access to Care

In recent years, the Veterans Administration has recognized the importance of decentralizing healthcare services. Veterans often prefer to receive care closer to home, rather than traveling long distances to VA hospitals. As part of this effort, EdenHill has become a preferred choice for Veterans in need of specialized care. EdenHill is currently home to nearly 60 Veterans in either our Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Independent Living. These residents will now be able to continue receiving care at EdenHill rather than moving to a Veterans Home, which would have separated them from spouses and friends.

A Collaborative Approach

To ensure that our Veterans receive the best possible support, we will have regular visits from VA nurses and social workers who will assess their needs and provide additional assistance when necessary. Our dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and therapists will work closely with these professionals to create personalized care plans tailored to each Veteran’s unique requirements.

Determining Eligibility & Accessing Care

To determine eligibility for services, we will collaborate with a VA representative who will evaluate the medical needs and level of service connection of each Veteran.

If you or a loved one could benefit from our rehabilitation or long-term nursing services, we encourage you to reach out to our dedicated Admissions department at 830-500-2439. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the process and provide the necessary information to help you make an informed decision. Alternatively, you can contact the VA Benefits Hotline at 800-827-1000 for further assistance and guidance.

To all our Veterans, thank you for your service. It is a privilege to care for you and honor your sacrifices.
